We use our proprietary Soft FuturesŪ simulations to understand the role of key opinion leaders and key decision makers in the depth you require. Soft FuturesŪ simulation involves getting key players together, giving them the outline of one or more real situations of interest to you, and facilitating role play to examine both how these players relate to one another and, in telescoped time, how the future might unfold.

We encourage clients to attend Soft FuturesŪ simulations and observe, so that they can get a sense of the situation directly. We write up the results of the simulations, and make appropriate recommendations, though you may still want to mine the rich data yielded by the simulation for further insights.

We prepare the simulation scenarios with just enough detail for realism, while giving scope for development around the breadth of the participants' knowledge and the variety of their real life situations, mirroring the complexity of real life.

Soft FuturesŪ simulations have been used successfully in a wide variety of situations to explore the likely evolution of current situations, or to explore 'what if' questions.

Participants often play 'themselves' but sometimes, particularly when simulations are used as a communications tool, may play other roles in order to understand their environment better.

Soft FuturesŪ simulations can clarify issues and influencer relationships to help you map the context of your product or service with precision. Using this information, you can develop cost-effective strategies and plans that will increase your access to the market.
