entry price for new products
We carry out work to maximise the price of your product, given the constraints of the market. We do this by seeking situations in which your product delivers maximum value to payors, clinicians and patients, and thereby achieves its potential in the market. Using the information we collect and interpret for you, we help you achieve a price that does not leave value on the table or volume in the warehouse. We work with you to establish the trade-off between a higher price in fewer market segments and a lower price in more market segments.
We offer specialist support in advising on pricing within the UK’s Pharmaceutical Price Regulation Scheme (PPRS) and Drug Tariff (for devices).
Many formal pricing systems operate across Europe. For example in Germany a formal application is required to have products listed on the Hilfsmittelverzeichnis for use in primary care. In France listing of implants on the LPPR involves a two step process. Utility is first assessed by the Health Technology Assessment Commission (CEPP) and price is subsequently negotiated with the Pricing Committee (CEPS).
