Private/public sector interaction

In many countries, reimbursement systems for the public and private sectors differ. These systems are generally separate but in some cases patients from one sector are able to access the other. Translucency assesses likely reimbursement values in both the public and private sectors, advises on the relative significance of the two sectors and clarifies how they interact. We also explore the relative merits of launching in the private vs. public sectors, or simultaneous launches in both sectors. We explore optimal positioning for each sector and identify any issues which may arise as a result of a decision to present your offering differently to private and public payors.
