cost-effectiveness

maximising cost-effectiveness

Using clinical trial evidence, we can help you identify those groups of patients in whom your offering has the greatest cost-effectiveness, for example because in an identified group it is cheaper to deliver a service or their cooperation with treatment is particularly good or because the treatment is more effective in the group or because alternative options are less effective.

We work with clients to explore a key trade-off between limiting the target market by promoting your offering for certain sub-groups of patients (with an increased chance of successful market access because budget impact is reduced and the cost-effectiveness case is stronger) or promoting it more widely (with a reduced change of successful market access because budget impact is increased and the cost-effectiveness case is weaker).

We explore with our clients the budget impact of promoting to different combinations of subgroups, the strength of the cost-effectiveness case, the likelihood of success in the market, and the timing and volume of likely take-up. This 360o analysis lies at the heart of key positioning decisions.
