Structure Focused Services

Once the clinical pathway has been established for the initial disease areas it is likely that some structural dysfunction will be identified. For example all patients coming in through the emergency ward show the same type of problem; communications with wards is not working well or the imaging departments lack flexibility, etc.

These problems can be easily identified through a patient approach, but their solution lies in more focused, structure orientated work. Importantly, as some of these structures are very expensive, any improvement is very rewarding in terms of cost savings.

Robert has developed services to support hospitals wishing to make structural changes. This work is most valuable when carried out in conjunction with a patient orientated approach as the problems and solutions are often linked.
